Sergio Eastside Oakland Story

I live in EAST Oakland and I am the proud owner of three great Bluenose pitbulls and let me tell you they look scary, but they would never ever hurt a fly. They only look big and bad, but they are just loving and caring animals. There is scientific proof that the most obedient breed of dogs is in fact the pitbull.
When I have some free time I go to the animal shelter in Oakland and do some voluntary work with the pit bulls that may be put to sleep. People don’t tend to adopt pitbulls because they are afraid of them. What I have seen with these animals is that the only thing that they need is a chance to get into your heart because after they do, you will just love them and you will feel offended like me when people say bad things about these animals.
Next year when I become a senior, my senior project will be about this animal and how nice they can be if you give them a chance. To me, pitbulls are like the teens who live in Oakland. People only judge them because of how they look or because the news says that they are bad and dangerous. But like pitbulls teens from Oakland only need a chance. But if you never give them this chance, you will live afraid forever without even knowing if what the news say is true or not.
